The 100th anniversary of the Polish Naval Academy is a unique time of many celebrations and projects that emphasize the contribution of our predecessors in building the current image of the university. It is about cultivating beautiful traditions, history and upbringing with values. One of these elements are commemorative plaques that highlight the achievements of all creators of maritime higher military education who permanently marked the 100th anniversary. At the same time, it is our memory and a tribute to all those who have created the PNA and Navy structures in various places over the years. Here we would like to express our sincere thanks to:
Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. based in Konstancin-Jeziorna,
The partner of the Polish Naval Academy for funding the commemorative plaques of
100th anniversary of the establishment of maritime higher military education
The ceremony of unveiling the commemorative plaque took place on June 21 this year, during the celebration of the establishment of the Naval Officers' School in Toruń (the place of the first headquarters of the university), combined with the celebration of the Sea Days, and on June 26 this year in the Garrison Church in Gdynia. Subsequent plaque unveiling ceremonies will take place: in the Stella Maris church in Gdynia, in the building of the Polish Armed Forces Support Inspectorate in Bydgoszcz and in the PNA Chapel.
