On 19-23.07.2018 The Academic World Championship in finswimming took place in Belgrade. The Naval Academy was represented by Weronika Prentka, who a few days earlier competed at the World Championships in Serbia. The competition was attended by students from eighteen countries. The competitions were played in four blocks. In the morning eliminations the swimmers competed for the opportunity to participate in the afternoon finals in which the competitors fight for medals. Weronika, after the morning races was twice classified in the eight of the best competitors in the world and started to fight for medals. She took part in races in the distance of 100 m BF and 200 m BF, on which she took the VI place twice, not losing much to the medal places.
