The Rector-Commandant of the Polish Naval Academy and his delegation: the Director of Rector`s Office rear admiral (ret.) Piotr Stocki and the commander of School Battalion Cmdr. Łukasz Teległów paid an official visit in Qatar at the invitation of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.
The visit took place between 18-21 of January 2022 and the main purpose was the graduation of 85 graduates of Police Academy in Qatar. The Academy educates students for all duties in the Ministry of Interior and Armed Forces, who supposed to be educated in criminal law, police investigation and criminalistics. Moreover, Qatari Coast Guard students who study in the PNA are directed by the Police Academy on behalf of Cost Guard. The visit gave also an opportunity to meet the Prime Minister- the Minister of Interior Affairs of the State of Qatar sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani. During the conversation a last visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda in Qatar was mentioned (4-5 of December 2021) and emphasized that the educational politics in between the two countries should be continued. Other questions related to the further progress of educational cooperation the Rector-Commandant discussed with the General Director of the Department of Coast and Borders Security brigadier Nasser Jabor Al – Naimi and the Commandant of Police Academy brigadier PhD Mohammed Abdullah Talib Al-Mahanna Al-Marri.
Another meeting-with polish Ambassador in Qatar Janusz Janke brought the chance to discuss possibilities of economic and explorational – developmental cooperation of Polish Naval Academy with Qatari economic subjects.
