THE WORLD NAVIGATION CONGRESS

On 27-30th of November the delegation of the Faculty of Navigation and Naval Weapons participated in the World Congress Navigation.

The delegation was: capt (N) Waldemar Mironiuk,capt (N) Mariusz Snake, Capt (N) Sławomir Świerczyński, lt. cmdr Piotr Zwolan.

It was the sixteenth edition of the congress and it took place in Chiba, Japan.

Before the conference, the PNA representatives took part in the general meeting IAIN (International Association of Institute of Navigation), as the delegates of the Polish Navigational Forum. They presented their publications during thematic sessions following days.  40 thematic sessions was conducted during the conference except the plenary session. It was another world congress after Korea, Cairo, Vienna and Prague the in which the representatives of Institute Navigation and Sea Hydrography participated.
